Klein & Hummel 0300
The K&H 0300s are active near/midfield monitors originally produced by Klein & Hummel, which has now been taken over by Neumann.
Oddly enough, they sound very similar to a pair of Sennheiser headphones (Neumann also own Sennheiser), with a rich, deep bass and detailed mid and high ranges benefiting from the 3 way design.
The sealed cabinet means they lack the time domain issues of ported designs, making the bass in particular far more accurate than with ports, despite comfortably going down to 30Hz.
Naturally, the speakers are complemented by extensive room treatment from GIK Acoustics and sit on extremely sturdy Towersonic speaker stands; which are far heavier than the speakers themselves, significantly reducing external resonance issues.
